It’s quite simple, really. Accentuate the positive. Eliminate the negative. We’ve always believed the thing that makes a good company and a good product are one in the same: INTEGRITY – of product, performance, practices, people, planet and purpose. For us, it all starts with a promise: We only want to make things that make things better. Which is why we promise to always be true to the people our products are made for – you. And to the place our products come from – the earth.

PEOPLE
Based in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, Pangea Organics was founded on the principle belief that together, we can create a new, more sustainable future. We have chosen to do so one bottle, bar and jar at a time. We are a small, independent manufacturer of organic body & skincare. But more than that, we are a community of like-minded people who believe in creating products that help rather than harm at every stage of their lifecycle.

PRACTICES
Buying Pangea Organics products does more than make your skin feel good. It means you’re supporting sustainable agriculture and culture – everything from fair trade sourcing and organic farming to living wages and the use of renewable, recycled and recyclable resources.

PLANET
You only have one body and we only have one planet. We promise to do all that we can to take care of both. That’s why our products are not only sensuous; they’re sustainable. In fact, our body & skincare starts biodegrading in 48 hours (while others contain chemical foaming agents that can take closer to 200 years to break down). Meaning, you’re not the only one benefiting from our products. The planet gets a good end of the deal too.

WHY PANGEA?

1. Our approach to skincare is holistic: whole body, whole mind, whole person.

2. Our goal is to create and maintain balance in the skin, not to create the excessive need for more products. This practice is uncommon among most other manufacturers. But much better for you, much better for your skin, and much better for your wallet!

3. We make products that are as organic as humanly possible. Just read our labels to find out what’s organic and what’s not.

4. 100% of our ingredients are plant-based. Did you know that natural ingredients have been proven to be more effective than synthetics? We knew there was a reason we loved Mother Nature. Turns out, she loves us, too!

5. Our products contain absolutely no parabens, or petroleum-based preservatives – 58 out of 61 of our skincare ingredients (95%) have naturally preserving properties, including our three heavy hitters: Organic Lavender Alcohol, Rosemary Extract and Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E).

6. We use only whole essential oils and herbal extracts that are produced without the use or addition of any harmful chemicals or solvents.

7. Fifty-six out of 61 of our skincare ingredients (92%) are natural antioxidants and, therefore, are proactive warriors in support of the anti-aging process.

8. Our ingredients have a purpose – That is 100% of our ingredients are both performance (working for the skin) and functional (making up the product). Typically, the majority of prod- ucts are made up of functional ingredients (i.e. bulking agents or fillers) that don’t “do” anything beneficial for the skin. With Pangea, 100% of our ingredients are doing their jobs for your skin, which means we’re doing our job for you.

9. Our products, by design, are highly concentrated, gently effective and affordable. On average, our full skincare line (cleanser, toner and cream) costs only $0.90/day.
